Use of donations

·                Donations will be held in an account separate to those of St Peter’s Parochial Church Council (the PCC).

·                Donations including tax recovered will be applied in accordance with the donors express wishes.

·                Funds will transferred to the PVT (Paglesham Village Trust) dedicated fund for the purchase of the ‘Oyster Beds’. The PVT will use the funds in accordance with the published objectives of the PVT dedicated fund.

 

 

NOTES

 

Under Gift Aid tax is recovered by the registered charity on the basic rate of tax only (currently 20%). When recovered this enhances the value of the Gift by 25%.

 

Higher rate taxpayers can recover from HMRC the additional 20% tax paid.

 

A certificate of Gift Aided donations for any complete tax year, for tax purposes, will be provided on request – but only to  the donor at their recorded address.
